The challenge – post earthquake merge
With a history dating back to 1923, and a ‘one stop shop’ approach to doing business with their valuable customers, Blackwells is most definitely a staple on the Canterbury map! They needed BTG’s support during the Canterbury earthquakes to be able to continue business processes with minimal downtime, and physically move their entire operation… ‘quickly’

BTG continue to work closely with Blackwells to fine tune processes.
“We are looking for some land to rebuild in the city. It will be Canterbury Mazda moving back into the city. We are going to build a showroom for Mazda. We can then get rid of the portacoms floating around the place, and will need to then integrate the city site, wherever that may be, back.”
Blackwells have signed on to BTG’s Manage IT managed services contract in September 2013, and BTG play a huge role in supporting their IT.
