BTG hosted its 9th Annual Tennis Tournament on Friday the 21st of February 2015.
After many successful events hosted at Mission Bay Tennis Club it was decided to give the event a fresh new look at our client’s venue, Remuera Rackets. It was also decided to bring in a new BTG Shield category for the more casual players. The weather showed to be very promising all week but we were very thankful for the overcast skies over the 1st part of the day before it cleared to sunny skies. New entries to the event injected some healthy competition and I believe there’ll a few people working on their tennis skills before next year’s event!
Brian Stephen and Reid Stephen from Hirepool managed to defend the title for the consecutive year winning 2 Degrees Mobile team, Julia Erakovic and Paul Matthewson. The BTG Tennis Shield was won by Rothbury’s team, Guy Worsley and James Rea. BTG would like to thank everyone for participating this year and look forward hosting the 10th BTG Tennis Tournament next year.
