In 2001, Steve Harris and Neil Dwight founded BTG with the specific aim to deliver client centric business technology services. BTG has since been committed to provide clients with exceptional products and services and remain at the forefront of the technology industry.

With the objective to provide nothing but exceptional service, BTG's reputation has grown extensively over the years. Since the company was formed with three core clients, BTG now works with over four hundred companies. With a team of highly skilled and specialised engineers, BTG continue to be a competitive and successful New Zealand owned ICT services company.

In 2002, after BTG's successful formation, an office in Ellerslie Auckland was acquired. With the ongoing expansion, BTG now operate a large team of engineers with other offices in Albany (Auckland), Wellington, Tauranga, Christchurch and Sydney.

BTG have developed strong and strategic partnerships with Citrix, Trend Micro and Juniper, and also in the emerging areas of WAN Acceleration, Disaster Recovery and Voice Over IP Telephony (VOIP). Alongside these, BTG also support numerous other vendors to ensure client technology needs are met.
