| BTG are very conscious of the worldwide problem of E-Waste. An unfortunate side effect of the growing IT industry coupled with increasing rates of manufacture and usage, is the disposal of unwanted hardware. BTG has made it company policy to reduce our effect on the environment in 3 different ways:
 BTG endorse products and hardware that not only deliver on reliability, but also with environmentally preferable attributes. Power efficiency and longer life spans are product features we take into consideration when designing and deploying.
 BTG endeavour to use existing hardware whenever possible. This not only reduces waste, but also reduces your expenditure. We also encourage clients to donate or re-sell any operational redundant hardware.
 Hardware and components that can not be reused or repaired can be recycled. Recycling enables the recovery and reuse of valuable materials and it also ensures toxic materials are not buried in our landfills. For more information, see www.eday.org.nz.
